Transfer VHS to DVD - VHS to DVD
As time passes newer and more power technology comes along.
The video world is no exception and in fact has seen rapid growth
over the last decade. In this decade alone we’ve seen 3 formats
feature prominently in the video world. At the turn of millennium
VHS was the dominant video format. VHS quickly faded into history
and obscurity while the popularity and clarity of DVD soared over
the next couple of years. While DVD remains atop the video world,
Blu Ray video promises to take DVD to the next level by offering
high definition video and sound to its users.
While new technologies are introduced ever few years some people
find themselves with a library of videos, both purchased and homemade
that they either can no longer play or fear they will loose to
time and damage. As today’s video technology and storage
mediums provide for better preservation many of these people have
begun transferring their old VHS tapes over to DVD.
There are a number of reasons for transferring VHS to
DVD. VHS to DVD conversion is a process
by which your old home movies are transferred to DVD. Equipment
can be expensive however and the process, even when you’re
knowledgeable, about such things, is extremely time consuming.
Many individuals turn to professionals when they consider transferring
VHS tapes to DVD. Choosing a professional service for the transfer
is far more affordable that doing it yourself and the final product
is always going to be superior.
When a professional transfers VHS to DVD’s,
your not simply getting your old video on a new storage medium
but in reality, your getting a whole lot more. A good transfer
service will be able to clean up the picture as well as enhance
the sound. In fact the majority of people looking to do a VHS
transfer to DVD request these things as VHS video often produced
a product that lacked in both picture and sound quality. In addition
to the fact that your old video will get a touch up, converting
VHS to DVD places your valuable videos on a medium
whose playback quality won’t fade with time and since DVD’s
are far more durable than VHS cassettes, your videos will be safer,
lessening the chance you’ll lose them to damage. Furthermore,
once DVD’s have been finalized they can’t be accidentally
“taped over” further ensuring the safety of your precious
videos.
"The DVD's are excellent; our mouths fell open when we heard
the wedding music you put on our DVD..... I don't know how you
knew to select and apply the best traditional music on that piece.
I think you may have a Persian gene in you after all.... The covers
were great and I also like the way you presented the pictures
and their sequencing within the film; the overall quality was
excellent.
We watched all the DVD's you made for me and we were in awe. Bitter
sweet memories made us laugh and made us cry.... You are an artist
with a deep sense of people and their emotions specially when
it comes to preserving their precious life-memories; your work
shows it. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making such wonderful
and beautiful memory pieces for us.
I love the Elvis music you put on my sister's wedding; its beautiful.
I'm going to give it to them tomorrow as a belated Valentine's
present when they come to visit and I'm sure they're going to
love it just as much as we did.
I'm glad you fixed and converted the torn VHS; there was a part
which showed my uncle and his wife leaving for their trip to Iran
(with all the suitcases in the garage). It was an ordinary scene
but very precious to us since he never came back; he passed away
from a heart attack there. He was 52 years old and my favorite
uncle....."
